Fairy Tale Romance

Who doesn’t love a wonderful fairy tale? I’m a fan of timeless stories such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Sleeping Beauty. But there’s a special joy in experiencing unique new tales, like when I saw The Little Mermaid or Frozen for the first time.

So I decided to dabble in both! The Spring of Beimeni series consists of four books that retell classic fairy tales but in a way you’ve never read before. But if you prefer something entirely new, then check out Tangled Web.

Spring of Beimeni Series

If you love fairy tale retellings, then embrace the Spring of Beimeni series: an epic saga centered around the fountain of youth woven into four classic fairy tales:

The Deadly Knight Rises - A unique but dark retelling of the classic Beauty and the Beast. When General Derek Tate claims the fountain of youth for his selfish queen, the gods thrust the lands into eternal winter and curse the general as Death for eternity unless he can successfully woo the White Witch, also known as Life.

The Exiled Queen Awakens - A fantastical retelling of the classic Snow White. What if Snow White really could communicate with animals, and the seven dwarves were protecting something godly in their mine? When Adam Tate discovers that his childhood crush Whitney is still alive but hiding in Devilwood Forest from the queen, he reluctantly trains Whitney for battle so she can lead the Red Insurrection, reclaim her throne, and help Death relinquish the fountain of youth to the gods.

The Halfwit Prince's Revenge - A twisted retelling of the classic Cinderella. What if Prince Charming wasn't charming, and Cinderella's godmother was evil? When the Crimson Insurrection seeks asylum in the Kingdom of Beacham, Prince Marcus hatches a plan with the witch Elaine to kill Death at the spring ball, giving both the revenge they seek.

The Reborn Princess – A romantic and haunting retelling of Red Riding Hood. What if Red wasn’t the innocent girl in the woods, but the one who died there? And what if her mother was the villain, while the wolf was the only one who ever tried to save her? Daphne embarks on a perilous mission with Winston—the cursed assassin known as the Black Wolf—to deceive the queen who ruined so many lives. But Daphne’s fiery red hair makes her a marked target in a deadly ambush they never saw coming. As the Crimson Insurrection descends upon Shroudhaven, determined to end the curse of eternal winter, Daphne must embrace the truth of who she is. At the heart of the final reckoning stands the girl in crimson, ready to fight for her throne—and for the man fate once told her to fear.

Standalone Fairy Tale Romances

My first fairy tale, Tangled Web, is based on Greek mythology's character Arachne. The weaver has a pretty poor reputation and is often depicted as a horrific half-woman, half-spider who is vicious and evil. But what if she was just a silly young maiden when she challenged Athena and later regretted her boastful nature? Would she deserve a chance at life and love? Aphrodite thought so...
